The New Formosa Restaurant has been introducing Malaysian dinners to the delight Taiwanese cuisine for the past 29 years. Our menu is extensive and variety; with more that 100 dishes like Shark's Fin, chicken, meat, seafood and vegetable dishes to choose from, as well as our desserts : from Taiwan's famous sweetie Glutinous rice pieces to crystallized yam to puddings.

At New Formosa Restaurant, chef and proprietor Lee Weng Eng and his Formosan wife are proud to present the delicious Taiwanese food - a respect for fresh ingredients, well-hoend cooking techniques and an innovative approach. Since 1980, we have been serving authentic and creative Taiwanese cuisine while keeping abrest of our customers' growing health consciousness.



DINNER & LUNCH SET MENU ARE FROM RM 98++

We stay true to traditional home-style dishes such as sweet potato Porridge and our signature Fish with Taiwanese Fermented Bean Souce. Yet, we are always seeking new flavors to tantalize our customers' taste buds, serving up delights such as Buffet Eel and Prawns in Bamboo Hollow. We are also famous for our Bonito and Ma La Steamboat as well as our Formosan Stone - Fire Pot - which cannot be found elsewhere.


We are also cater for wedding dinners, company functions as well as birthday dinners.

Opens Daily : 12.00pm - 2.30pm, 6.00pm - 10.30pm
We are opening throughout the Chinese New Year. (Including The New Year's Eve)

[新宝岛餐厅]创立于1980年,它以道地台湾料理为前提,同时针对客人的特别要求和口味作必要的调整。主厨东主李荣英和来自台北的妻子以及一群忠心职员,二十多年来专业,敬业,进取,坚持以“健康理念和创新的台式料理”作为经营理念,深受顾客的认同和支持。

从二十世纪末具怀旧风味的菜式 -- 番薯粥,菜脯蛋,烧酒鸡,石头火锅,家乡火腿,干煸四季豆,宫保大肠,芝麻虾和具本地风味新年招牌 -- 鲑鱼鱼生,甜点和饮料,酸梅水,客家麻薯,香甜芋头...


到跨越千禧年的崭新菜式 -- 海鲜粥,客家竹筒虾,凤梨大肠,竹筒芋头饭,八珍猪手,三杯竹滩,麻辣鸳鸯锅,蒜茸烤虾,上海斎,宝岛斎菜,材鱼麻辣火锅和各色低糖可口布丁,全是精心之作。

午餐和晚餐套餐由RM98起,宴请远方亲朋好友,公司聚餐,生日宴客,丰俭由人,[新宝岛餐厅]大宴或小酌皆令人难以忘怀...


营业时间 :中午12时至2时30分,晚上6时至10时30分。
公共假期,除夕农历新年,照常营业。

  3. 老板娘很nice,都给很好的招待,食物也很不错,尤其是竹筒虾,汤汁令人回味(只可惜一人只有一碗..哈哈..)还有,原来红酒配烧鸭是那么好味的..
